What is a Reborn Doll
A
reborn doll is a lifelike doll that has been created from a play doll or a
doll kit.
The
art of creating reborn dolls involves painting layers and layers of paint to
create a realistic skin tone, including characteristics such as veining and
shadows in the creases. They have soft hair rooted into their heads to
appear as if it is growing naturally, and they are weighted and stuffed to
create a cuddly and true to life feeling. A reborn baby doll’s head must be
supported just like a real newborn infant!
Each
reborn doll is an artist creation and has it’s own unique qualities. These
four dimensional portraits are not play dolls, but pieces of art to be
cherished and admired for years to come.

Crochet Boutique
All the items in my
boutique are handmade by me. I take great pride in my work and
strive to bring you excellent quality baby and doll items that
will last through generations. Whether you are looking for a
unique heirloom gift for a new baby's arrival or searching for
the perfect outfit for your reborn or OOAK sculpted doll, I am
sure you will find it here.
Many of my items are
crocheted using quality cotton threads. I use this for my baby
booties and mini outfits.
Some of my larger baby
outfits are handmade from quality acrylic baby and sport weight
yarns.
I offer a variety of
items including cotton baby booties for newborns, preemie sized
bonnet and bootie sets, dresses and gowns, and tiny outfits for
OOAK sculpted baby dolls.
Many of my mini outfits
are one of a kind as I often don't use a pattern for these. So
you can be assured that they are as unique as the creation that
will wear them!
